IWU Exceptional Learners Online Program Admissions Requirements

1. Applicants must have met one of the following degree requirements:
   1. Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university or college with a grade point average of at least 3.0, both in the major and overall; ~OR~
   2. Hold a graduate degree; ~OR~
   3. Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university or college with a grade point average of at least 2.5, both in the major and overall, and have at least five (5) years of professional experience related to the content area in which the applicant seeks licensure.
2. Present passing Praxis I scores (as established by the Indiana Department of Education) for reading, writing, and math.
3. Prior to any field experiences, submit a state-approved criminal history report.
